WWE Announces Memorial Day Weekend Takeover of Yuengling Center in Tampa

Tampa, Florida – WWE, in partnership with the Tampa Bay Sports Commission and Vinik Sports Group, has announced a Memorial Day weekend takeover of the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The four consecutive events will begin on Saturday, May 24 and will feature Saturday Night’s Main Event, Battleground, Monday Night Raw, and NXT.

Fans will have the opportunity to experience non-stop WWE action throughout the holiday weekend at the iconic Yuengling Center, which was once home to the Royal Rumble in 1995 and WWE Thunderdome. The takeover will also see the return of John Cena, who will appear on NBC’s Saturday Night’s Main Event in primetime. This will mark Cena’s first appearance in Tampa since 2022.

Three and four-day combo ticket packages will be available exclusively during the initial ticket on-sale window starting Friday, March 14. An exclusive pre-sale opportunity will be available from Wednesday, March 12 through Thursday, March 13 via Ticketmaster.com. Additional information regarding individual event tickets will be announced at a later date.

For fans looking for a premium experience, Saturday Night’s Main Event Priority Passes are now available from On Location. This pass will give fans the chance to be ringside for every exhilarating moment, including premium seating, pre-show hospitality with WWE Superstars, appearances ringside, photo opportunities, and more.

Tampa has a rich WWE history, having hosted events such as Royal Rumble at Tropicana Field in 2024, WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in 2021, and Royal Rumble at the Yuengling Center in 1995.

Saturday Night’s Main Event will air live on Saturday, May 24 in primetime at 8pm ET on NBC and simulcast on Peacock. Don’t miss this exciting weekend of WWE action in Tampa!
