Exciting Events in Tampa Bay Area for March 10-13

Looking for something fun to do this weekend in the Tampa Bay area? Look no further! From basketball tournaments to film festivals, food and wine events, and even a taco and margarita festival, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Starting on Thursday, March 10, the 2022 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament kicks off at Amalie Arena in Tampa. Fans can catch all the action from March 9-13, with package purchases available for access to all 13 games. Single game tickets are also available for purchase.

Also on Thursday, the Gasparilla International Film Festival begins, showcasing films of diverse genres and themes from around the globe. The festival includes features, documentaries, shorts, international films, and more, along with panels and parties for film enthusiasts to enjoy.

On Friday, March 11, the Busch Gardens Food and Wine Festival begins, offering guests a world of taste with a delicious menu and drinks to enjoy alongside the park’s thrilling roller coasters. With more than 20 new dishes to try, guests can explore a variety of flavors while enjoying a diverse concert lineup.

Saturday, March 12, brings the Tampa Bay Ultimate Taco and Margarita Festival to Raymond James Stadium, featuring signature tacos and margaritas created by executive chefs. Live musical performances and appearances from WWE superstar Adam Scherr (formerly known as Braun Strowman) will also be part of the festivities.

For those looking to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day early, the St. Paddy’s Shenanigans Bar Crawl offers two options in South Tampa, Downtown Tampa, and Downtown St. Pete. Participants can enjoy free welcome drinks, exclusive food and drink specials, and plenty of bar games at participating bars.

Lastly, on Sunday, March 13, the River O’Green Fest returns to Curtis Hixon Park, transforming the Hillsborough River into a bright shade of green for an Irish-themed celebration. Live entertainment, games, kids activities, food trucks, and beer will be available for attendees to enjoy.
