According to records from the Hillsborough County Jail in Tampa, Addison was booked for probable cause trespassing in an occupied structure or conveyance on the 5200 block of Orient Road, an area known for its bustling restaurants and nightlife.
The arrest occurred at approximately 3:46 a.m. local time, with Addison being booked into the county jail at 7:33 a.m. He was released later that day around 2:40 p.m. after posting a $500 cash bond.

Addison’s legal troubles don’t end there; he was also cited for speeding in July 2023, clocked at an alarming 140 mph on a Twin Cities freeway. Despite these setbacks, his legal team noted that Addison has been proactive in addressing his issues, participating in MADD events and programs.
On the field, Addison’s performance has seen a decline since his impressive rookie season in 2023, where he recorded 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns. His numbers dropped to 63 catches for 875 yards and nine touchdowns in the following season, and this year, he has managed only 42 receptions for 610 yards and three touchdowns.
This latest incident raises questions about Addison’s future with the Vikings and his commitment to the team. O’Connell previously benched him for a quarter during a game against the Browns for missing a team walkthrough, emphasizing the importance of accountability within the organization.
