Communities Prepare for Hurricane Milton with Free Sandbag Locations

Highlands County officials will be handing out sandbags on Tuesday, October 7, with a limit of 10 bags per person. Residents can also access sand for sandbags at designated locations during daylight hours, but must bring their own shovels.
