Sunburn Cannabis Opens 13th Dispensary in Tampa, Florida
Sunburn Cannabis, a Florida-based cannabis operator with a unique backstory, has opened its 13th dispensary in Tampa, Florida. The store, located in the iconic South Tampa neighborhood, is the latest addition to the company’s growing portfolio of retail locations across the Sunshine State.
Inspired by the founder’s family history, Sunburn Cannabis pays homage to CEO Brady Cobb’s late father, who was a cannabis smuggler in Florida in the 1970s and 1980s. The brand incorporates traditions passed down from its founders, creating a team that is passionate about the plant and the culture surrounding it.
Named after “Operation Sunburn,” the investigation that brought down Brady’s father in 1984, Sunburn Cannabis aims to destigmatize cannabis and educate the community on the benefits of the plant. With a focus on premium products, the company offers a variety of hand-trimmed cannabis flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, concentrates, and their new top-shelf flower line, Bill’s Reserve.
With locations in cities like Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, and St. Petersburg, Sunburn Cannabis is expanding its footprint in Florida. The company also operates cultivation gardens, processing facilities, and labs in Eustis and Winter Garden, with plans to open new locations in Indialantic, Panama City Beach, Stuart, and more later this year.
Sunburn Cannabis Tampa, located at 2409 S. MacDill Avenue, is open seven days a week from 9am to 9pm. As the company continues to grow and serve the community, it remains committed to providing high-quality products and promoting the benefits of cannabis to Floridians.
