Denver Broncos Eyeing Offensive Upgrades in Dream Offseason: Godwin and Warren in Focus
The Denver Broncos are gearing up for an exciting offseason as they head into the new NFL league year with nearly $40 million in salary-cap space and a full complement of 2025 draft picks. With a laser focus on improving the offensive side of the ball, the Broncos are looking to make some big moves.
According to Pro Football Focus, the Broncos are eyeing wide receiver Chris Godwin in free agency and tight end Tyler Warren in the draft as potential game-changing additions to their roster. Godwin, who is set to hit the open market, has been a premier possession threat and an elite run-blocker during his time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Meanwhile, Warren is considered the top tight end prospect in this year’s draft class, drawing comparisons to NFL greats like Dallas Clark and Jeremy Shockey.
While Godwin may come with a hefty price tag, projected to land a three-year, $66.7 million deal, the Broncos are reportedly among the interested suitors. As for Warren, he is expected to be off the board before the Broncos pick at 20th overall, but Michigan TE Colston Loveland is a more realistic option who could still be available.
The Broncos’ front office is on a mission to provide quarterback Bo Nix with more weapons, and the potential additions of Godwin and Warren could be just what the team needs to elevate their passing game in the upcoming season.
