Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. is set to host its 84th Grand Conclave in Tampa this week, marking the first time the event will be held in the city. With over 50,000 members from around the world expected to attend, the impact on the local economy is expected to be significant.

Sherri Brown, President of Multicultural Sales and Development at Visit Tampa Bay, highlighted the boost in tourism and economic development that the conventions of the Divine Nine/Black Greek Letter Organizations will bring to Tampa.
