New England Patriots Revamp Offense, But Tight End Position Remains Steady

Yet, recent reports from Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review Journal indicate that the Raiders have no intention of parting ways with the promising tight end.
While trading for Mayer might seem logical given the Raiders’ focus on Bowers, the Patriots’ need for a tight end is questionable. With Henry and Hooper already in place, New England’s priority appears to be securing an elite wide receiver, especially with Stefon Diggs still recovering from a torn ACL.
If the Patriots viewed tight end as a pressing need, they likely would have addressed it during the draft, where they held 11 picks. Instead, their focus has shifted toward enhancing their receiving corps.
