"We are from an immigrant family," said Jessica Jacobs, donning a striking Lady Liberty costume. "Right now, that’s my biggest issue — being terrified of what’s happening with immigration in this country. It feels like something out of a novel."

The urgency of Jacobs’ words echoed the backdrop of a recent announcement regarding the largest immigration enforcement operation in U.S. history. Vice President JD Vance stated, "I think the President of the United States is the one who determines whether this country’s being invaded. And under the Biden administration, it was."
