“Malcolm Stewart Wins in Front of Home Crowd at Monster Energy Supercross Race in Tampa”

In an electrifying night of racing in Tampa, Florida, Malcolm Stewart emerged victorious in Round 5 of the Monster Energy Supercross race after pressuring Chase Sexton into a critical mistake late in the race. Stewart, a 32-year-old veteran, thrilled the home crowd with his first win of the season, showcasing his determination and skill on the track.

Despite a less than ideal start, Stewart steadily worked his way up the ranks, eventually overtaking Sexton for the lead. The energy of the crowd fueled Stewart’s performance, causing Sexton to make errors and ultimately crash in the whoops section of the track.

Stewart’s triumph was made even sweeter by the presence of his brother, James Stewart, who witnessed his first victory. Sexton, although retaining the points lead, fell out of podium contention after the crash, allowing Cooper Webb to secure second place and Jason Anderson to claim the final podium spot.

The night was not without its share of drama, as top contenders Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen faced setbacks. Tomac struggled with a leg injury and finished in 17th place, while Roczen crashed hard after colliding with a lapped rider, ending his race in 21st position.

In the 250 division, Max Anstie emerged victorious in a chaotic race that saw Pierce Brown crash out early on. Daxton Bennick chased Anstie to a second-place finish, while Cameron McAdoo, racing with a torn ACL, defied the odds to secure a spot on the podium.

With the championship heating up, the stage is set for an exciting season ahead as riders like Tom Vialle, RJ Hampshire, and Cooper Webb vie for supremacy in the highly competitive field. Stay tuned for more thrilling action in the Monster Energy Supercross series.
