Escape Tampa Bay’s The Oaks: Only One Home Left in Tiny Home Community
Escape Tampa Bay’s The Oaks community near Tampa, Florida has been a hot spot for tiny home enthusiasts, with 32 out of the 33 homes already sold. The last remaining home, the N1, is priced at nearly $250,000 for 540 square feet of living space.
Escape Homes, a Wisconsin-based tiny home builder, has made a name for itself in the industry. The company ventured into real estate development with the Escape Tampa Bay Village, which includes four neighborhoods, two of which are yet to be built.
The homes at The Oaks went up for sale about four months ago and have been in high demand. The N1, priced at $249,550, is the most expensive unit on the property, offering a larger living space compared to the other homes in the community.
The N1 features a mid-century modern design with a neutral color palette, a spacious kitchen and living room area, a guest half-bathroom, a washer and dryer, a primary bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a primary bathroom with additional storage.
The home also boasts a 32-foot-long glass wall that brightens up the space and opens out to a back deck. Residents of The Oaks have access to amenities such as a pool, a community coworking space, and additional storage units.
However, potential buyers should be aware of the additional monthly $725 “lot rent” fee, which covers amenities like water, landscaping, security maintenance, and parking. Despite the price tag, the N1 could be the perfect tiny home for those looking to downsize and live in a growing city like Tampa, Florida.
