Tampa Bay Lightning Extend Win Streak to Five with Victory Over Seattle Kraken

The Tampa Bay Lightning continued their winning streak with a dominant 4-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Sunday night. Brandon Hagel led the charge with a short-handed goal, his third against Seattle this season, and an assist. Nikita Kucherov and Luke Glendening added goals in the third period, while Nick Paul sealed the win with an empty-netter.

Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy was stellar in net, making 36 saves in his 26th win of the season. Despite Shane Wright spoiling his shutout bid late in the third period, Vasilevskiy’s performance was crucial in securing the victory for Tampa Bay.

The Lightning also welcomed back J.J. Moser after a two-month absence due to a lower-body injury. Meanwhile, Seattle goalie Ales Stezka made his NHL debut but couldn’t stop the Lightning’s offensive onslaught.

Despite a rusty start after the break, Tampa Bay found their rhythm and capitalized on their opportunities. The Kraken, coming off a tough loss to the Florida Panthers the night before, struggled to generate consistent offense against Vasilevskiy.

Overall, it was a strong performance by the Lightning as they extended their winning streak to five games. With key contributions from Hagel, Kucherov, Glendening, and Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay looks poised for continued success as they push towards the playoffs.
