Girl Scouts unite to support each other during natural disasters

The bond between Girl Scouts across the country has never been stronger, as evidenced by the outpouring of support from the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida to their counterparts in California.

After facing the devastation of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida received an overwhelming amount of love and support in the form of letters from Girl Scouts all over the nation. Now, they are paying it forward by sending letters of encouragement to Girl Scouts in California who are dealing with the wildfires.

Despite the challenges they faced with their own camps being closed due to the hurricanes, the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida were touched by the kindness shown to them during their time of need. The support they received inspired them to reach out to those facing similar hardships in California.

The girls wasted no time in creating heartfelt cards filled with messages of love and hope for their fellow Girl Scouts on the West Coast. They even went a step further by collecting uniforms to send to those who may have lost theirs in the fires.
