Spotlight on Ignite Fitness Studio: Celebrating National Black Business Month in Tampa Bay

Ignite Fitness Studio in Carrollwood is one of the many Black-owned businesses being highlighted during National Black Business Month. The boutique studio, founded by Ebony Grover and Roxana Bennett in 2022, focuses on creating a community for its clients through group training and a variety of fitness classes.

Grover, who is passionate about fitness, takes joy in seeing her clients progress and get stronger with each class they attend. The studio offers a range of classes including full-body workouts, yoga, bounce, bar, and cycling, all under one roof.

One of the key aspects of Ignite Fitness Studio is the sense of community that Grover and Bennett have cultivated. They host community events, celebrate milestones with their clients, and emphasize the importance of supporting each other on their fitness journeys.

Despite the challenges of running a business, Grover remains persistent and focused on marketing and maintaining the studio for the long run. She advises aspiring business owners to hang in there, enjoy the process, and remember why they started their business in the first place.

As National Black Business Month continues, Ignite Fitness Studio serves as a shining example of a Black-owned business making a positive impact in the Tampa Bay area.
