1. SkyWatch: Space Week
When: 8 p.m. Oct. 10
Where: MOSI, 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa
Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or just starting to explore the wonders of the night sky, SkyWatch offers an unforgettable experience for everyone. Guided by expert astronomers, attendees will have the chance to view stars, planets, and celestial wonders through telescopes. Admission is free for members and just $5 for general admission. 2. USF Fall Plant Festival
When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 11-12
Where: 12210 USF Pine Drive, Tampa
The USF Botanical Gardens will transform into a plant lover’s paradise during the Fall Plant Festival. With over 40 local growers showcasing rare and native plants, artisan goods, and food trucks, this event promises a delightful day for families and gardening enthusiasts. Members enjoy early access at 8:30 a.m.
3. Candy Crawl
When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 11
Where: Shops at Wiregrass, 28211 Paseo Drive, Wesley Chapel
Bring the whole family (pets included!) for a day filled with games, candy, and giveaways at the Candy Crawl. The first 500 kids will receive free treat bags and pumpkins. While the event is free, online registration is encouraged for a chance to win tickets to local attractions. Register here.
