Upcoming Hispanic Heritage Events in the Tampa Bay Area

The Tampa Bay Latin International Film Festival is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 3-8 p.m. at Creative Pinellas in Largo. This event celebrates the rich tapestry of films inspired by Latin culture, with movies starting at 4 p.m. Attendees can also enjoy a red-carpet event before the screenings.

In addition, the Clearwater Latin Jazz Fest will be held on Friday, Sept. 27, from 7-10 p.m. at The BayCare Sound at Coachman Park. Award-winning musicians from Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and the U.S. will come together for a free concert of Latin Jazz, featuring talented artists such as Renesito Avich & Friends and O Som Do Jazz.

For those looking to experience vibrant culture, the Viva Tampa Bay Hispanic Heritage Festival will take place on Sept. 28-29 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Tampa. The festival will feature a roast pork competition, cocktail competition, live music, entertainment, and family activities.

Other upcoming events include Rumba en Clearwater at Coachman Park, the Science of the Cuban Sandwich at the Museum of Science & Industry, Tango Lovers at the Mahaffey Theater, and the Hispanic Heritage Festival at Coachman Park.
