Upcoming Hispanic Heritage Month Events in Tampa Bay Area
The New Tampa Performing Arts Center is gearing up for its annual Fall Festival, set to take place from September 12-15. Located at 8550 Hunters Village Road in Tampa, the festival will feature a diverse lineup of performances including music, theatre, dance, comedy, and more. In addition to the entertainment, attendees can enjoy family-friendly activities such as arts and crafts, the Florida Orchestra’s instrument petting zoo, and a special performance of “Don Quixote” by the Tampa City Ballet on September 14 at 8 p.m.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! The Latin Night Block Party on September 12 at Krate at the Grove in Wesley Chapel promises an exciting evening of music, dancing, and delicious food from 29 different restaurants. Hosted by DJ Neko from EL Nuevo ZOL 97.1 FM, this event is perfect for the whole family, including furry friends.
For those looking to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Welcoming Week, the Palm Harbor Library will host an Encanto Interactive Movie Night on September 17. This interactive movie experience will include popcorn, props, and a craft activity for children ages 4-12 and their caregivers.
And if you’re in the mood for some Latin flair, don’t miss the Latin Night at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium on September 21. This adults-only event will feature live music, dancing, Latin American-inspired food and drink, and a special presentation on manatees by CMA Research Institute’s Anmari Alvarez-Aleman.
