Plans Revealed for New Davis Islands Mansion to Replace Derek Jeter’s Former Home

Plans have been unveiled for a new Davis Islands mansion that will replace the former home of New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter, setting the stage for a luxurious and expansive new residence in Tampa Bay.

The original 22,000-square-foot home, custom-built for Jeter and his family, will be demolished to make way for a larger 30,000-square-foot mansion. Construction is set to begin next year and is expected to take about three years to complete.

The property, located at 58 Bahama Circle, was sold by Jeter in 2022 for a record-breaking $22.5 million, making it the most expensive home ever sold in the Tampa Bay area. The mysterious new owner, listed as “Zebb.com Trust” on the deed, has ties to a cryptocurrency app that allows investments in bitcoin.

Speculation suggests that health care entrepreneur and philanthropist Siddhartha Pagidipati and his wife, Ami Pagidipati, may be the new occupants of the lavish mansion, as they have listed the address as their primary residence on voter registration records.

The new home, designed by Landry Design Group with interior design by Annette English, will feature six bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, 11 half-bathrooms, a gym, and a swimming pool. The design will incorporate substantial green space to create a park-like setting, with lush landscaping surrounding the structure.

In a philanthropic gesture, the owner plans to donate materials from the current home, including cabinets, appliances, furniture, and lighting, to Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County. The organization will sell the donated items at its ReStore to fund affordable housing projects.

“We’re excited to give everyone a first look at the special family home coming to this unique location,” said Casey Ellison, CEO of Ellison Cos. “This is a unique opportunity to showcase world-class design on Tampa’s waterfront.”

The transformation of the former Jeter residence into a new architectural masterpiece promises to be a captivating and luxurious addition to the prestigious Davis Islands neighborhood.
