Joe Perry Hits the Road: AEROSMITH Guitarist Announces August Tour with THE JOE PERRY PROJECT
Rock legend Joe Perry, the iconic guitarist and songwriter of AEROSMITH, is set to electrify fans once again as he embarks on a highly anticipated tour with THE JOE PERRY PROJECT this August. The eight-date run kicks off on August 13 in Tampa, Florida, and wraps up on August 23 in Port Chester, New York, with a special performance in Perry’s hometown of Boston on August 19.
This tour marks Perry’s first solo shows of the year, and he promises an unforgettable experience. Joining him on stage will be fellow AEROSMITH bandmate Brad Whitford on guitar, Buck Johnson on keys, and a powerhouse lineup featuring Chris Robinson from THE BLACK CROWES, along with Robert DeLeo and Eric Kretz from STONE TEMPLE PILOTS.
"I’m really excited about the JPP lineup this year!" Perry exclaimed. "Most of these guys played with me at The Roxy in L.A. for the debut of my latest solo album, ‘Sweetzerland Manifesto,’ back in January 2018. They’re all incredibly busy, but thankfully they’ve carved out time for this run."
Perry, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, is known for his electrifying performances and songwriting prowess. He promises a setlist that will include fan favorites from THE JOE PERRY PROJECT, as well as hits from AEROSMITH and songs from his collaborators. "It’s gonna be a BLAST! If you’ve ever been to one of my shows, you know the words ‘GARAGE BAND on STEROIDS’ come to mind!" he added enthusiastically.

Perry’s illustrious career spans over five decades, with AEROSMITH selling more than 150 million albums worldwide and earning numerous accolades, including four Grammy Awards. His contributions to rock music have solidified his status as one of the genre’s true guitar heroes.
In addition to his work with AEROSMITH, Perry has released six solo albums, including his latest, "Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII," which features alternate tracks from his 2018 album. He is also a member of the supergroup HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES, alongside Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp.
