Tampa Bay Beer Week: A Celebration of Local Brews and Events

Tampa Bay Beer Week is set to kick off on March 1, bringing a week-long celebration of all things beer to the Tampa Bay area. With over 70 Florida breweries participating, there will be plenty of new creations to try and themed events to enjoy.

Sean Nordquist, Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Brewers Alliance, is encouraging beer enthusiasts to step out of their comfort zones and try new brews during the week-long celebration. Tampa has a rich beer-making history dating back to the 1930s, and the craft beer scene has seen a resurgence in recent years with the emergence of over 80 craft breweries in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.

The week will be filled with exciting events, including the Florida Craft Brewers Festival on March 1, where attendees can sample from a lineup of 200 craft beers. Other events include a beach-themed party with 3 Sons Brewing, a Battle Royale arcade and beer competition, a beer mile fun run, a golf tournament, an Emo Night at Florida Avenue Brewing Co., a cookie and beer pairing at Rapp Brewing Company, and a Hangover Day at 7venth Sun Brewery.
